My Compass enables me to experience more and more of the emotion I truly believe in and that dominates my life at the moment.
My Compass changes direction throughout my life - wanted or unwanted.
When I change my deep beliefs, the emotion my Compass points to naturally evolves as well.
MY COMPASS - IN FULL
My Compass is dedicated to wanting the best for me. Its mission is to give me what I feel the most. It is not here to judge whether I want that emotion or not. It simply senses the intensity of the feeling and assumes I want more of it.
My Compass is set by my deep beliefs, not by what I would like or dream of. With what I believe in the most comes a dominant emotion (joy, hope, fear, sadness, etc.), and this is the emotion my Compass amplifies.
My Compass is not here to judge whether my dominant emotion is “right” or “wrong” for me: it does what it is told to do. It consistently points in the direction of my strongest emotion.
To identify the direction my life is heading, I need to look for repetitive patterns. Isolated events or thoughts do not significantly influence my Compass; it is guided by what I feel deeply inside. It consistently points toward the one emotion I feel the most. If this emotion is one I dislike, then what is needed is to transform what I deeply feel.
My Compass is set on what I deeply feel (conscious or unconscious). It defines the direction my life takes when it comes to feelings. It is very intuitive and relies a lot on emotions - rather than thoughts.
At times, it feels like my Compass is broken, because nothing I get in my life suits me! In such a case, it is worth taking the time to reflect on what I deeply feel. For instance, if I want to be rich and I am afraid of being poor; it is likely that the intensity of my fear is greater and more present than my aspiration to be rich. Hence my Compass is most likely set on fear - until I fix it.
Together with my Compass, I continuously create opportunities throughout the day to experience more of my dominant emotion—reinforcing it through this process.
